Grounds/Maintenance Officer

Applicants with a handyman/labouring background who are willing to undertake odd jobs and grounds work are strongly encouraged to apply. 

Applicant must be able to work unsupervised and be able to obtain a Working with Children clearance (Ochre Card) and National Police Check.

A unique opportunity exists for an experienced Principal to guide and influence an amazing school with the challenge to impact a generation. Yirara is a Lutheran boarding College for Indigenous secondary-age students from Central and Northern Australia.

As Principal, you will lead and manage a committed and motivated team to provide a Christ centered and culturally responsive learning environment that inspires and educates young people. A strong desire to work with Indigenous people and understand their culture is essential.

Community Liaison Office Administration Support 
Full Time
Commencing August 2018

The role of the Community Liaison Office is to work closely with students, families and relevant agencies to provide support for student enrollment. 

Applicants for this position must have the ability to multi-task, have experience in Microsoft excel and proficiency in data input. Written and verbal communication skills are essential. 

Applicant must be able to work unsupervised and be able to obtain a Working with Children clearance (Ochre Card) and National Police Check.
